Why We Love Cam Newton

Tim Tebow seems to get all the glory, all the attention right now as the Denver Bronco’s star quarterback who seems to have God on his side and has captured the attention of the whole country.  At least until last weekend’s game when the New England Patriots gave Denver a good trouncing that all the “Tebowing” in the world couldn’t have prevented.  Still Tebow commands the attention of Americans right now more than any other NFL star.  All stars, though, have a time to rise and a time to set.  And really, we aren’t looking for the next Tim Tebow, but someone completely else.  Someone who has done his time in the lower echelons of the game, paid his dues, and is poised to take on a greater position than any who have come before him.

American Sports Teams

I’m not too sure of all of you readers out there, but in my family we take our sports very seriously.  I am talking about way too seriously actually.  My uncle Don and his son Dino still will not sit in the same room for longer than five minutes when Dino beat Don at table tennis if that helps to give you any insight into our mixed up family.  On top of being extremely competitive at the sports and games we play, we are big into college and professional sports too.
